Its been almost a year!

So I got sick of blogging and well lets face it Casey doesn't love it either haha. But Here is a little update. Casey graduated college with 2 degrees, can we all say over achiever. I went to summer school and well it was super fun. I also have been very busy with Chi Omega. I am an assistant pledge trainer with Maria and Rachel. Lucky that we got all the best girls rush had to offer. We took 30 new girls. And I was busy with songfest! Which is were all the sororities and faternites chose 4 songs and change the lyrics to talk about the boys house, the girls house, your own house and the U of U. We did the Wizard of Oz and to be honest there was a good amount of drama but Chi Omega WON!!! It was so amazing! Um.... then Casey got a promotion at work ( So proud!) and I went on fall break with Em,Maria,and Ali to Cali... so amazing! Well im off and swear to update more :)

Hey all, Sorry we have been slacking on the blog! But we will do better, cause we know all the many readers need an update into our lives! hahaha but here is something to tie you all over till we actually get time to write. 25 things you didnt know about us. love you all!

1- If you know me at all you know that I fall at least 3 times a day.. normal haha
2- Wants to make movie trailers
3- Love taking photos and scrapbooking them
4- Has an unhealthy amount of love towards anything Disney.. and I'm not ashamed of it! (Jonas brothers.. Hannah Montana... Wizards of Waverly place... High school musicals, Enchanted..List goes on and on!) Also want to be a character running around Disneyland for a summer
5- Loves to get into seasons of tv shows on dvd and watch them for days (Gilmore Girls, The OC, The Office, Friends, Gossip Girls.. are my favs)
6- Wants to write a book

8- Hates being in Utah for too long... I want to travel the world

1. I am very close with my family especially my cute parents and little sister.
2. I only have 3 first cousins, Elliott, Sam and Quinn.
3. When we were little, people always thought my little sister and I were twins, much to our dismay!
4. I have an older half sister, half brother, and a niece (Maggie/Puddles) who is the best border collie in the world!
5. I have horrible, horrible luck. Anything that could go wrong, does.
6. Before we were best friends, Elise moved out of the room she and I were supposed to share at the Chi O.
7. I have to take at least 1 shower a day, most of the time I take 2....
8. I cry during a lot of movies, and at random times. If the movie involves romance, dogs, or single dads, I'm a goner.
9. I was raised by my daddy until I was 10. We lived in the cutest little house. It was over 100 years old and had greenhouses behind it.
10. I don't care what people say, I love carnations, they are one of my favorite flowers.
11. This is my last semester in Chi Omega. :(
12. I have multiple best friends, and three "besties": Scott, Elise, and JJ. I would rather have a few best friends than a lot of mediocre friends!
13. I like to shop, especially for cute/trendy cheap clothes!
14. Ebay is amazing, by far my favorite shopping device.
15. I love movies and when I lose at Scene it I get a little upset...
16. Depending on how my skin looks, I always try to go without makeup.
17. I went to Africa last summer with my grandparents and cousin, Elliott. I took about 400 pictures, 350 of elephants.
18. I am a DOG person. NO cats.
19. I talk to my beagle, Abby, a lot. I'm positive she understands me.

21. When I cleaned out my car yesterday all that was in it were Kinkos bags, diet coke cans, and to-go coffee cups. My life.

Are you ready?

Hey friends... So today starts the Chi Omega I-week, which means are pledges are going to be members by the end of this week! AHH, Emilee will be a Chi Omega. The week wont be easy but its worth it and lots of fun! I cant wait for this week to bee over, it kills me that the pledges are so crazy nervous.. they think we are going to beat them are something HAHAHA! It wont be as bad as they think. 

On a different note we went to Bridal Wars. Which Em and I loved (and shocker we cried... yeah that's real) But we also went with Casey and she didn't cry and didn't like it as much as we did, And we went with are amazing (New President of Chi Omega) Kelsi Mares and she love it and had she been sitting by me she would have cried! 

OH and Em and I went Snowboarding... yeah that's real. It was so much fun. I only fell once and it wasn't even bad which is SO shocking and I think em didn't fall. Billy did circles around us and My MOM came (Well made us go) and she is an amazing skier! It was a way fun day but very very cold! I was freezing! So when we were leaving we saw are good friends AMY and DAN! They are so amazing and we love them so much! They were pretty much going night skiing which I found to be crazy, but that's why we love them! Well I'm off to start I-week but we will keep you updated!

New Year

Christmas has come and gone, the New Year is here, U of U won the Sugar bowl (Go us!). Christmas was an amazing time we had the whole faimly (Us the Trentmens, and Dyes) and Now one of the best things we've done during the vacation was "UnCaged" this is an 24 hour event of watching Nicolas Cage (real last name Coppola) movies. Mike and Chris Dye (Best Cousins alive), Emilee and I made it the full 24 hours and Casey and Billy made some good tries haha. We had the pleasure of enjoying these feature films---Raising Arizona, Amos and Andrew, The Rock, Con Air, Snake Eyes, Gone in Sixty Seconds, Family Man, Matchstick Men, National Treasure One and Two, The Weather Man, The Wicker Man, and last but not least Ghost Rider. Now there are some great movies in this list and some movies were I was praying the disc would break! All and all "UnCaged" was an amazing!! When Crisco (Chris) comes to visit again in February we shall be doing Cruisin' (Tom Cruise) and we all cant wait. Another fantastic thing we all did together was Danish night. We decided to celebrate are history and make an all Danish dinner.. That includes Lamb, Funeral potatoes, cake, and danishes. It was an amazing dinner and time spent.  For New years Casey, Emilee and me went to Park City and had sushi and the flying sumo (it was bomb) then we went back to the condo and watched the ball drop, casey fell asleep at 10:30 hahaha And then we watched 27 dresses, great choice for 09. We had a very boy and drama free night which has never been so nice! After my all boy vacation with Ryder, Chase, and my new guy Whitney. We went to stay in St. George at Ryders condo because Ryder got me an In-N-Out gift certificate. So we went down to use my birthday gift. After dinner the boys wanted to gamble which I'm not a fan of, So i just watched while Whitney lost money and Ryder and Chase won. Congrats boys! Then that next morning Ryder and Whitney went golfing, and Chase and I went hiking, yeah thats real! Haha we ended up getting home that next morning. It was one if the best vacations I have ever gone on! Well ya'all We love you and have new goals to write more..... XOXO

So I was doing so well at the start of November and then I don't know what happened. School took over my life and well Casey and I have been going to a lot of Jazz games lately, which has been so much fun! Also Twilight came out!!! It was amazing, Katie Bell, my mom, Em, Casey and I scored some tickets for a 12:15 AM showing. We went to the theatre at 8 or 9 to get good seats, we are die hards, the best part is, the movie started and we watched all the previews then the movie finally starts and the sound goes out.... words can not describe how angry we all were, some how the sound comes back on everyone in the theatre goes quite and then the lights in the room goes on... movie still going the crowd is so angry the manager comes in and says we are all so sorry and we will restart the movie for you, we have to roll the film back by hand so you'll see some of the previews again. Katie looks at the time and its now 1 AM.. She starts putting on her jacket and saying if more then one preview is shown again I'm leaving. hahaha. Good thing they only showed one preview and then the movie, needless to say it was amazing! I'm in love with the whole male cast of twilight, not even one boy in the movie was ugly :) we all went again (except my mom cause she was paking, and she was super sad to miss it) Chi Omega had a meeting where we dressed for Thanksgiving, Laurens mom and I made these awesome costumes, we are Indians if you can't tell haha Then we went to New York for thanksgiving, we saw some awesome broadway plays, my favorite was The Little Mermaid! So amazing the people the costumes were unbelievable! My birthday was the 28th... Im now 22, which is well not different from 21 really. Now it's almost finals and well I'm schooling hard now. Today in my yoga class I taught everybody ballet, best time of my life, but since i should be writing my paper for sociology I will explain later. love you all

The weekend of sports and fun!

So Friday Casey and I decided that we wanted to go to the Jazz game, so I went and bought tickets... who knew they were a little bit on the expensive side? We payed 30 dollars a ticket and sat in the upper bowl, But it honestly was so much fun. We got on the big screen twice!! and each time Casey was so embarrassed, she would try to hide haha. And after the jazz won (1,000 wins for Jerry Sloan) we waited in line for about 2 hours to get Kyle Kourver autograph, while waiting we were super entertaining, always laughing and when we got up to kyle, Casey and Emilee just laughed and didn't really say much to him and me being completely awesome I started chatting with him... " Hey kyle you look super happy to be here, thank you so much for staying after the game so we could meet you!" He looked so confused, why would she be talking to me.... and said "Um... yeah... thanks.." I just laughed and walked away, it was way fun! 

Saturday my dad told me we had tickets to the USA v. Uruguay Rugby match. And since I love Rugby, Emilee and I decided to go. We invited Casey but she was busy writing a paper, we invited some other people but no one wanted or could go. So we go and get there late cause I had an appointment but when riding the elevator we meet 3 very pretty men who were on the Uruguay team. One of them told us that we smelled like Cheerios, I said we try to impress! such good times, the game was really cool, the US won!  Then Em and I went to a baptism for one of are Chi Omega pledge sisters, which was such a fun and exciting experience. All and all it was a way fun weekend! More to come!

Reasons we are besties!

As Elise previously mentioned, we got into a bit of a tiffy over her tardiness. I love her dearly and quickly got over it. The Howl was.... interesting. I think people in Logan just don't have a whole lot going on! My little sister dressed as a playboy bunny. Enough said. And forced me to wear a pleather ensemble. We had a great time after though, and didn't get home until 4:30 in the MORNING (both sets of parents were displeased).

In case many of you didn't know, last night was a historic evening. No, not Obama winning (that was a couple of nights ago), but it was Jerry Sloan's 1000th win with the Utah Jazz. AN NBA RECORD!!! Elise, Em and I had a total blast and ran into Warner and Fuzz at the game. However, the best part of the evening was the Kyle Korver autograph session. We waited over TWO hours to get a signature (I drove, so Elise and Emilee couldn't escape) and died laughing the whole time. Behind us in line was some girl who was near tears she was so excited.

Anywho, we are looking forward to more adventures! Let us know if you have any ideas!

Thanksgiving has feelings too!!

Hey friends! So its been a bit, lets update. Shindig was freaking awesome. The decorations turned out really cute I loved the lights, and the wild flowers we put everywhere and the pumpkins are a perfect touch. The food was bomb, I was the most shocked cause i helped and it didn't turn out bad at all, everyone loved it. My date was Collin and I had so much fun, we danced every dance and he even helped clean up... Perfect date! The after activity was so much fun Collin, Casey, Nick and I went to the Sig house to play Karaoke. And no joke Nick, Collin, Casey and I were all really good which made it super fun hahaha!
So there of pictures of Casey and I with some friends for ChiO Halloween. Everyone had to dress up as a nursery rhyme all example all the pledges were sheep and the pledge trainer was little bow peep. So cute. So Shantel and Casey were Little Red Riding Hood and I was the Big Bad Wolf.... I know we are so cool!
Halloween was... well interesting :) So I lost track of time and so I was indeed 40 minutes late getting to the ChiO. And we I'm pretty sure I went 80 at lest of the freeway. Casey hates being late, she believes it is very rude, which is very true. But things happen and this was the first time in the history of Casey and mine friendship that we fought and we had silence in the car for like 30 or so minutes. It was so sad! But we got to Logan even though I missed the exit by 13 miles or so... So funny hahaha. and then we went to the howl and to be honest it wasn't as cool as we all thought it would be. But I honestly had the best costume ever! I was beach barbie (Shorts and a tank top = beach haha) And I had a pink barbie box around me! So we stayed for a bit and then we drove home and went and played at the Sig house till the early morning.
But now we have a fantastic Holiday coming up... and if you're thinking Christmas I will be angry, and call you my parents. Everyone just forgets Thanksgiving. People come on now! I just dont understand why people decorate there house and listen to christmas music before Thanksgiving is over. My parents are the worst at this, my dad listens to Christmas music the day after Halloween and the decorate the house like 2 weeks before Thanksgiving. Drives me crazy. So make sure to celebrate Thanksgiving (Hence my awesome back ground haha)

Oh Sweet Jesus.

So, right now Elise, Emilee and I are at my little sister's apartment in Logan. All I have to say, is now I understand why she is moving back home. Her puppy is running wild eating shoes and hairbrushes, while we wait for her to finish getting ready for the Howl. I love her very much. Today was an eventful one, as Elise was forty minutes late getting to the CHI-O, and we went 13 miles in the wrong direction... it was lovely.
