Its been almost a year!
So I got sick of blogging and well lets face it Casey doesn't love it either haha. But Here is a little update. Casey graduated college with 2 degrees, can we all say over achiever. I went to summer school and well it was super fun. I also have been very busy with Chi Omega. I am an assistant pledge trainer with Maria and Rachel. Lucky that we got all the best girls rush had to offer. We took 30 new girls. And I was busy with songfest! Which is were all the sororities and faternites chose 4 songs and change the lyrics to talk about the boys house, the girls house, your own house and the U of U. We did the Wizard of Oz and to be honest there was a good amount of drama but Chi Omega WON!!! It was so amazing! Um.... then Casey got a promotion at work ( So proud!) and I went on fall break with Em,Maria,and Ali to Cali... so amazing! Well im off and swear to update more :)

We are still alive!
Hey all, Sorry we have been slacking on the blog! But we will do better, cause we know all the many readers need an update into our lives! hahaha but here is something to tie you all over till we actually get time to write. 25 things you didnt know about us. love you all!
25 things about Elise
1- If you know me at all you know that I fall at least 3 times a day.. normal haha
2- Wants to make movie trailers
3- Love taking photos and scrapbooking them
4- Has an unhealthy amount of love towards anything Disney.. and I'm not ashamed of it! (Jonas brothers.. Hannah Montana... Wizards of Waverly place... High school musicals, Enchanted..List goes on and on!) Also want to be a character running around Disneyland for a summer
5- Loves to get into seasons of tv shows on dvd and watch them for days (Gilmore Girls, The OC, The Office, Friends, Gossip Girls.. are my favs)
6- Wants to write a book
7- Loves the rain, Hates the cold
8- Hates being in Utah for too long... I want to travel the world
9- Loves baking... doesn't know how to cook
10-doesn't know how to do laundry (I've done it twice but I can't remember how)
11- Can never remember what I did the day before
12- Can't spell
13- Would die without music! And can't understand how people can live without it
14- Love plane food
15- Love staying in and being in sweats or pjs
16- I'm addicted to regular coke, diet is super gross
17- I'm always laughing, even if it's the right time or not
18- Sarcasm is my second language
19- I'm always changing my hair about once a month, I get board if it stays the same for too long
20- I consider a ton of people my besties and honestly couldn't live without anyone of them
21- Can't stand when people are mad at me
22- Have to M&M's in even amounts
23- Loves any board games!
24- Can turn bright cherry red on a dime
25- Thinks I’m super funny and will laugh at my own jokes.. I mean they say the hardest critic for you is yourself and well I think I’m hilarious so I must be! Like right now I’m laughing haha

25 things about Casey
1. I am very close with my family especially my cute parents and little sister.
2. I only have 3 first cousins, Elliott, Sam and Quinn.
3. When we were little, people always thought my little sister and I were twins, much to our dismay!
4. I have an older half sister, half brother, and a niece (Maggie/Puddles) who is the best border collie in the world!
5. I have horrible, horrible luck. Anything that could go wrong, does.
6. Before we were best friends, Elise moved out of the room she and I were supposed to share at the Chi O.
7. I have to take at least 1 shower a day, most of the time I take 2....
8. I cry during a lot of movies, and at random times. If the movie involves romance, dogs, or single dads, I'm a goner.
9. I was raised by my daddy until I was 10. We lived in the cutest little house. It was over 100 years old and had greenhouses behind it.
10. I don't care what people say, I love carnations, they are one of my favorite flowers.
11. This is my last semester in Chi Omega. :(
12. I have multiple best friends, and three "besties": Scott, Elise, and JJ. I would rather have a few best friends than a lot of mediocre friends!
13. I like to shop, especially for cute/trendy cheap clothes!
14. Ebay is amazing, by far my favorite shopping device.
15. I love movies and when I lose at Scene it I get a little upset...
16. Depending on how my skin looks, I always try to go without makeup.
17. I went to Africa last summer with my grandparents and cousin, Elliott. I took about 400 pictures, 350 of elephants.
18. I am a DOG person. NO cats.
19. I talk to my beagle, Abby, a lot. I'm positive she understands me.
20. My weaknesses are sushi, cute boys and chocolate.
21. When I cleaned out my car yesterday all that was in it were Kinkos bags, diet coke cans, and to-go coffee cups. My life.
22. I like to work out by going to the gym or pole dancing (my new favorite thing!).
23. I speak my mind.
24. I am a loyal, devoted friend.
25. I have an ongoing obsession with Barack Obama, read his autobiography if you can!

Are you ready?
Hey friends... So today starts the Chi Omega I-week, which means are pledges are going to be members by the end of this week! AHH, Emilee will be a Chi Omega. The week wont be easy but its worth it and lots of fun! I cant wait for this week to bee over, it kills me that the pledges are so crazy nervous.. they think we are going to beat them are something HAHAHA! It wont be as bad as they think.
On a different note we went to Bridal Wars. Which Em and I loved (and shocker we cried... yeah that's real) But we also went with Casey and she didn't cry and didn't like it as much as we did, And we went with are amazing (New President of Chi Omega) Kelsi Mares and she love it and had she been sitting by me she would have cried!
OH and Em and I went Snowboarding... yeah that's real. It was so much fun. I only fell once and it wasn't even bad which is SO shocking and I think em didn't fall. Billy did circles around us and My MOM came (Well made us go) and she is an amazing skier! It was a way fun day but very very cold! I was freezing! So when we were leaving we saw are good friends AMY and DAN! They are so amazing and we love them so much! They were pretty much going night skiing which I found to be crazy, but that's why we love them! Well I'm off to start I-week but we will keep you updated!

New Year

Whitney and ChaseChristmas has come and gone, the New Year is here, U of U won the Sugar bowl (Go us!). Christmas was an amazing time we had the whole faimly (Us the Trentmens, and Dyes) and Now one of the best things we've done during the vacation was "UnCaged" this is an 24 hour event of watching Nicolas Cage (real last name Coppola) movies. Mike and Chris Dye (Best Cousins alive), Emilee and I made it the full 24 hours and Casey and Billy made some good tries haha. We had the pleasure of enjoying these feature films---Raising Arizona, Amos and Andrew, The Rock, Con Air, Snake Eyes, Gone in Sixty Seconds, Family Man, Matchstick Men, National Treasure One and Two, The Weather Man, The Wicker Man, and last but not least Ghost Rider. Now there are some great movies in this list and some movies were I was praying the disc would break! All and all "UnCaged" was an amazing!! When Crisco (Chris) comes to visit again in February we shall be doing Cruisin' (Tom Cruise) and we all cant wait. Another fantastic thing we all did together was Danish night. We decided to celebrate are history and make an all Danish dinner.. That includes Lamb, Funeral potatoes, cake, and danishes. It was an amazing dinner and time spent. For New years Casey, Emilee and me went to Park City and had sushi and the flying sumo (it was bomb) then we went back to the condo and watched the ball drop, casey fell asleep at 10:30 hahaha And then we watched 27 dresses, great choice for 09. We had a very boy and drama free night which has never been so nice! After my all boy vacation with Ryder, Chase, and my new guy Whitney. We went to stay in St. George at Ryders condo because Ryder got me an In-N-Out gift certificate. So we went down to use my birthday gift. After dinner the boys wanted to gamble which I'm not a fan of, So i just watched while Whitney lost money and Ryder and Chase won. Congrats boys! Then that next morning Ryder and Whitney went golfing, and Chase and I went hiking, yeah thats real! Haha we ended up getting home that next morning. It was one if the best vacations I have ever gone on! Well ya'all We love you and have new goals to write more..... XOXO
