Because I am now obsessed with blogs (thanks Beth) There is this amazing blog that everyone needs to know about it http://cupcakesandcashmere.com/ And this has inspired me to do my own "5 Things" I not saying mine will be better then hers but hey it just might, and well my post today will be 6 things.
So When the Christmas season rolls around I get very into it.

This movie is a classic! If you haven't seen it, then you have been living under a rock... just saying.

So this is an old movie but has so many good songs and it just so fun to watch! See it to make your Christmas season complete.

If you want to laugh your butt off, this is the movie for you. I watched this movie in the airport last Sunday and was laughing out loud! I forgot how funny it was. You need this movie to bring the comedy to your Christmas season.

Everyone loves this movie and rightfully so. It is honestly amazing!

Well I love Jimmy Carrey and he was spectacular in this film... classic.

And last was saved for the best... This is my families Christmas movie, during the Christmas season this movie is ALWAYS on and we all can quote every line.... just ask. You need to see this movie and ASAP!

Midnight Showing... Yes Please!

So what.. I love Harry Potter. It was honestly the first book that I can remember reading and liking, Judge me. So when I heard the date for the seventh movie part one, I was all about it. As you all must know I procrastinate and lucky for me Andrew and Emilee were all about harassing me until I bought the tickets (a week before it opened) and yes we got tickets to a midnight showing the only down side is that you couldn't pick your seats so we had to go wait in line, which turned out to be half the fun. Before going Beth, Emilee and I took the Sorting quiz, which told us what house we would be in, and let me say this... It couldn't have been more right! Emilee was placed into Ravenclaw, Members of this house are known for their intelligence and cleverness. (Perfect) Beth was placed into Slytherin, Members of this house are very Ambition, cunning, determination, resourcefulness, self-preservation, pure-blood, and they also have a lot of members that are Death Eaters (HAHAHA... Perfect, also make sure to check out Beths arm art in the photos haha) And I was placed into Hufflepuff, Members of this house are very inclusive among the four houses, valuing hard work, patience, friendship and Loyalty... Woe right on the money haha. We also had the privilege of a Gryffindor coming with us, even though he didn't take the quiz, we decided that Andrew was our Gryffindor. So we all dressed up in our house colors and went to the midnight showing and had an amazing time! The movie was fantastic, all the girls cried at the end and Andrew stayed awake through the whole thing (which is huge!) We can't wait for part two to come out!

It just happens... to me

Coke, some would say that I am addicted to it.. And I'm not going to lie, I am. I can't go a day with out having one, It quench my thirst. So while I was in the library I started getting a huge headache and I will be the first to say I was a little on edge. When I realized that I decided this was happening because I had been studying to hard and that I hadn't had a coke all day. So I grabbed my i-pod to walk to the cafe with my music blaring to get the beverage that would fix all. When I got there I saw, Diet Coke, Vanilla Coke, Coke Zero..... And without thinking a said rather loudly "SHIT". When I turned around everyone was looking at me. And the first thing that came out was "They're out of regular Coke." and then I ran away. What a movie moment!

"Because we are in college!"

Because we are in college we have to do things that are crazy, fun! Things we never thought we would do OR even things we never wanted to do, But if we don't do it in college when would we do it?
Well I have got invited to go to the the Jazz game and let me just say this as a random side note... I have a weird obsession with Fesenko. Yes that is correct Fes, he is just so awkwardly beautiful hahaha. Anywho back to the story at hand we didn't want to pay our weight in parking so Eddy and Beth decided that tracks were the way to go.... I could not have been more against this plan. but here is why. The last time I was on tracks a man threw up on my shoes.... I had never gone back, it was scaring! But I had no choice and well we went on tracks. It actually wasn't that bad, nothing horrible happened while we were riding and well we got some pretty amazing pictures and that's what is important!
Because we are in college Beth convinced me that we should camp out in front of the stadium for the Black Out game (U of U football) and we had to because the ESPN Game Day show was going to be taping in the morning. We all know I do not camp. And who wants to camp in Utah in NOVEMBER? Oh I will tell you who... College kids. Lucky it was a record high temperature for the night before and game day and game day itself. We went to Beth's house and got all the essentials like a tent, sleeping bags, and warm cloths. We went to the stadium and set up the tent and met some super fun people who we danced the night way with and my new friend Luke and I somehow got into the stadium... I got way to scared we would get caught and I was out as fast as I got in haha. At around 4:30am security came and woke everyone up and said we had to clean up and line up for the show.. but in you didn't have a wrist band you couldn't line up. Beth and I didn't have the special wrist bands, so we got to pack up and got to Beth's for some sleep. The night was so much fun and yes Beth you were right... the night was so fun and I am glad we did it! PIctures of the camping to come! But enjoy so pictures of the tracks :)

Halloween Baby

Since Halloween was on a Sunday this means (well at least for Utah) party all weekend long, which I have no problem with. And since nobody wants to be the same thing every night this means you need to change up your costume! This year I went as Wendy from Peter Pan and Beth went as Tinker Bell and she looked great and well I looked kind of like a dancer or a princess.. people thought Bell or Cinderella. Which I can't say I was offended. Another night I was Sporty Spice.. and if you know me at all you would know that I freaking LOVE the Spice Girls. Katie went as Scary Spice and Emilee went as Baby Spice.. We looked flawless! Yes we know that there are two more girls in the Spice Girls group but we had a story for them.. Posh was traveling with her husband and couldn't make it and Ginger was in rehab haha. Also I went as Rachel Zoe and my friend Parker went as her then assistant Brad Goreski (because he looks EXACTLY like him!) But since a lot of people don't know her bravo TV show it was only amazing to some people and others were lost. But believe me it was truly amazing. We went to a lot of parties with some amazing friends. Over all Halloween weekend was so much fun and plenty of memories were made.

Grown up?

When does this happen? I feel as if in an instant I have just grown up, But really it happened all with in a couple of months. My good friend Katie just went on vacation in August to DC and decided she loved it there and is currently looking for a good job. Casey lands an amazing job in Chicago and moves with out much warning (A mean I needed to prepare for this! Im still in the beginning stages of grief, AHH I just miss her so much... and if your are reading this which I bet you will -don't be afraid to visit LOTS!!! Love you more that you will ever know..... "Some people have boyfriends I have you") And my good friend Ryder gets married (September 30th because he hates the month October). And I picked a major! Elementary Education, it's so perfect for me. I want to teach kindergarten to 3rd or 4th grade.
Anywho I would just love to know when we all decide to grow up. I feel like Im ready to grow up and in a way I'm so NOT ready. But everyone does it I guess- it just sneaks up on you. So much change.. Im still spinning but this is what makes life right? the moments you don't plan for. So here is to living the unplanned life!

P.S. We can all thank Beth for making my blog look SO much better and for not letting me go insane with all this change! She is my Serena to my Blair, love you.

It's Time

Yes I know what your are thinking... Why does Elise and Casey even have a blog since they never update it. Well I went through a phase of not loving blogging, but now I'm back on the band wagon. Mostly because during this time in my life so many things are changing. My friends are getting married, moving away, getting real jobs and ahhh... I'm just trying to keep up. so this blog will hopefully keep everyone informed!
Summer is almost over, and right now I couldn't be more conflicted about it. I'm so sad that the lounging is coming to a close but I couldn't be more excited to start taking classes that I care about and I know are going to take me a step closer to graduating college! Which is far away but not a problem haha.
As for the summer Emilee and I went to California for a month, Which is dream for me, I am in love with California! The only small problem was that we went for the month of June and no one told us about June gloom... Super cold, but we still had one great time. Casey came out for a week and we packed that week full of super fun! We went to knotts berry farm and it was a new experience for everyone. It was the perfect time to go because the kids were still and school and it was a random week day. We walked on most the rides and rode them as many times as we wanted, what a prefect time. We also went to Disneyland of course, which was great as always especially with people I love.
We also met one of the funniest people in this world... Russel Brand! That is correct the Russel Brand. He was doing a documentary called Buy love here. Where you trade in things you no longer want or need for something in the store that you want. Casey and I didn't really understand (mostly because Russel didn't explain it that well... we now look back and think he did that on purpose for his benefit) I brought a travel brush that I never leave home with, honestly it has been everywhere with me and a calling card (which was a joke... It was meant to seen as like, how much does a pretty girls number cost.... it's priceless) So as we are waiting in line the nice people with cameras are interviewing us, needless to say we got more excited and then they let us in. I found this amazing hat box, and Casey decide that she wanted the shirt Russel was wearing. To get the item you want you have to go through Russel. I went first and I will just say right now I got verbally abused. I loved every moment of it, I was dying! He told me that he would not except my cracker jack box shiz (My brush) and he is getting married so why would he need a girls number.... Well ok then hahaha He then gave me ten minutes to go get something else and try again. I went running out of the store to find something I could bring back, there was no way I was going to let him win! Casey learning from what happen to me decided to not try and trade her reusable bag and she traded the sweatshirt of her back for a shirt. He was all about it and she got the shirt. As for me, I came back with a shirt that I bought and gave him a sob story and well I got my amazing hat box! I have to say that it was a hilarious experience.
After the month away we came back to SLC where it was warm, thank the heavens! Emilee and Vanessa and I went to the Justin Bieber concert. Yes We know that he is 16, but he is an entertainer! The concert was so much fun, We made shirts that said Bieber babes (Pictures to come) but one thing we didn't expect was how piercing little girls screams are! But it was amazing concert and all the little girls loved our shirts and we weren't the oldest ones there. All in all it was a win!
Ahh there is so much to write about it but from now on I'm going to try and write more often so the posts wont be so long and random. (I hope some of this made sense)
Xoxo

long time gone...

So I pretty much suck at writing on the blog, but not as much as Casey haha. Anywho school started up again and I have decided I want to by a grade school teacher! It honestly is so much fun, I love it (well so far) I am working with Mrs. Homer at Cottonwood for second grade two days a week. And that is all thats really going on in my life right now, not super exciting. But while I was working on getting my phone working again (it never works) And ran across some pretty sweet photos and felt like they need to be shared.. enjoy!
