Oh hey there!

that last little blog... SO DEPRESSING! And then I haven't blogged since- some might have thought I was dead
And in a way I was- I got the flu for a lovely week!
Yes that is correct, and I even got a flu shot this year- people that is a huge deal for me because I hate needles and blood... So thanks a lot flu shot and medical community for nothing!

But lets play a little catch up!

Beth turned 24 this year! So we threw a birthday dinner at the Dodo, which was so much fun to get everyone together. It has just been so long, and it was so delightful! Here are some pictures of the night:

Then Feb 27th I was feeling so nauseous all day all. Earlier in the day my dear friend Jeff called me and asked to what my plans where for the night. I told him my plans where either
1.) Be dying on my bathroom floor or 2.) Be at the Brad Paisley Concert.
He was like um ok... Who are you going to the concert with?
I answered "Oh my I don't even have tickets, I just love him so much! I want to go but I know that is unrealistic, and Im not feeling well really So I am betting I will be doing plan 1 tonight."
He laughed and told me to feel better and that he would talk to me later.
Later that night I wasn't feeling any better- but Jeff called and asked me if I could rally...
Because I was sick, and apparently really having a blond moment I didn't understand why he would even ask me that- so I said no.
He told me to rally and to meet him at his house ready to go in 40 minutes.
Then it clicked, He got us tickets somehow to this "sold out" show! I freaked out and immediately jumped in the shower and made it to his house in time.
As we start driving to the venue I am feeling worse and worse.... And thinking that I might not be able to make it through the night. But I decide to just down some sprite and do my best. We pick up the tickets from will call and he hands them to me. I don't even check to see where we are sitting I just hold them and follow him. We start walking in the lower bowl and I am freaking out.
How the hell did you get lower bowl tickets on such short notice?-- and we keep walking... and walking...
We end up on row 15 on the FLOOR! ARE YOU KIDDING ME! At this point I am hitting him and yelling about how excited I am, and how I can't believe this was happening, it was so amazing!!!
Not to mention The Band Perry opened! AHHH!! Here are a few pictures of the night that was so unexpected and truly such a great surprise.

Jeff and I on the Floor for Brad Paisley! (He hates pictures- so we are lucky I got one)

The end of the amazing concert!

Right after the concert I went home and that is when the amazing flu started!
After a week of missing school and all sorts of other things I had to play some serious catch up! I had a math test in two days! So I literally lived in the Math Lab and beg some of my friends to teach me math! I took the test and I am proud to say I received an 86! HOORAY!

Then Monday the FHE activity was Ice Skating! And I have been trying to get a group of people to ice skating with me all winter but somehow it never works out. So Julie, my Mother, and I went to the activity! During this activity we saw this lady who looked amazing on the ice, so Julie and I went over and told her she was amazing and she told us she used to be a pro! And she taught us a few ice skating moves! It was nothing short of a blast! Mom fell pretty hard trying to do a move and thats when we had to call it a night, but we got a few pics thanks to Morgan!
