Man Dime

Man dime- Have you ever heard of a girl who is a "dime"? If you haven't no need to fret its what I believe to be a Hollywood/rapper thing. It means that girl is a perfect ten. So after watching an episode of fantasy factory (on MTV, about the skater Rob Dyrdek. So FUNNY) Anywho he came up with the term Man dime, for as you guessed it a guy who is a perfect ten.

So I have been dating a boy for about two months and Katelyn and I decided his nickname should be Man Dime, or A... I'm still thinking about it.
MD or A has taken me on some of the most creative dates ever. One night we went to a cooking class (all about chocolate), which was amazing, cause who doesn't like chocolate? One night we went to a Lecture in Park City (we almost died going up the canyon in a HUGE snow storm... but he saved us like a champ.) One night we went and had dinner and Bambara restaurant in hotel Monaco (delicious) and then the Bees games. We always catch the end of the games and then watch the fire works, which is the best way to see a bee’s game I think. We went to the Tulip festival (which I had no idea existed and they are one of my favorite flowers.) And ran into this family that when around singing The Sound of Music songs in full costume, not because they were getting paid to do so, because the mom wanted to so it. So of course we got a picture with this family.

We had to have a cheesy photo!
The Sound of Music family.
Sweet souls

Then after we walked around there for a while we hit up an art exhibit in Provo. Then had dinner at this super nice Sundance place. All of these dates were truly creative and amazing! But this last Friday was the ultimate.

He picked me up at 6:45 and only told me to bring a jacket. He wouldn't tell me anything else. We started driving and ended up somewhere in North Salt Lake. He was trying to find some place that was a little tricky to find, as the time neared 7:30 he began to get a little panicked that we weren't at the place yet. I assured him that even if we were late to our dinner reservations they would still seat us. He just looked at me and said would you mind typing in the address on your phone. I did and we were only 2 streets way, which made no sense because there was nothing really around. As we pulled up to some random building he asked if I brought my camera, which of course is always a yes, then he was super excited. As we got out of the car a man met us and pointed right in front of him and said, "This is the helicopter you will be going on." Um... WHAT?? I'm sorry I didn't know I was on the Bachelor. I was floored! I couldn't believe it.... I had never been in a helicopter and always wanted to. We signed some wavers and then were on our way. We flew over Bountiful and Downtown Salt Lake. This being the only night it didn't rain that week.... it was truly spectacular. The pilots name was Bill and his headset was the only one that seemed to work. Which if I had the choice of mine working and not his, I would choose his. So A and I were communicating with a lot of pointing. I had a perma-smile the whole time, and soaked in every minute. When we landed I had taken about 50 photos and wanted more time in the helicopter. To say I loved it would be an understatement.

 Bachelor style!
Just about to take off.. So excited!

The U.... Where I will be spending most of my summer
Sunset
A and me

Then we headed to dinner at Rio Grand, which was my first time there, and since Mexican is my favorite food there was no way to go wrong there. After a delightful dinner we went and met up with a big group to go see the new pirates movie. I was pretty good but A feel asleep in it; poor thing was just so tired! Anywho after the movie we went and stopped at 7/11 to get Slurpee's... best idea ever. Then we headed to his house so I could help him pack for his internship. He will be gone for 3 months and living in Harlem (NYC) working with CNBC for the show called Mad Money. He had all this stuff he was taking laid out on his bed... this is when I started to panic. He only was taking like 8 dress shirts 4 pairs of pants ect... really 3 months and that is it? So I immediately started grabbing more clothes for him to take. Then he brought in his "suit case" it was a "I'm going to tour Europe for 3 weeks back pack." I'm sure my face was priceless as I kept asking if he was joking.... He was not. Good thing he had me there lets be honest, I ended up getting him to take a duffel bag also... I got home around 4 am. His flight left at 8 that morning, yet again no sleep for A. And I had to be up and be at the beautiful home of the Welch’s at 9:30 AM for Beths Bridal Shower! Which I was on time for and gave Beth the best gift ever.... I got her some garments hahaha needless to say she loved them! And I had never laughed so hard!

Anywho this is my life as of late. Other then summer school (and that is a joy) I’m living the dream. I just bought tickets for the crew to see The Hangover Part 2 tomorrow at 12:01am! SO excited!!! Blog more soon, Love you all!
